Alan Gogol to release a minimalistic acoustic sleep album: Owl &
The Moon.

July 2022 - Alan Gogoll is an accomplished acoustic guitar player with a
focus on approaching the instrument in a more innovative way. He
swiftly combines a wider array of techniques to enrich his compositions,
giving them a truly unique style. He is quite well known for his fast bell
harmonics, impressive tapping, and percussive patterns on the
instrument. However, he decided to take a step back on "Owl & The
Moon." The album has a specific concept, which prompted the artist to
show some restraint in his playing. While the record doesn't have the
colorful, fast, and upbeat acoustic compositions that have been turning
heads throughout the world, it makes up for it in the mesmerizing and
hypnotic guitar textures that the album provides.

What makes this release stand out is the minimalistic approach to the
recording. The compositions are soothing and straightforward while
retaining Alan's signature detail-oriented approach. Many of his listeners
requested an album that would be perfect to accompany their sleep. The
track listing on this record is ideal as a companion soundtrack to fall into
oblivion and blissfully gain some peace of mind before bedtime. Most of
the songs on this album are endowed with relaxed tempos and wide-
open melodies with a strong focus on building dreamlike textures. These
beautiful acoustic lullabies are timeless, like clouds floating in the night
Sky.

Another very special perk of this album is the fact that it is very
performance-driven. Alan used his trusted custom Ted Astrand Ä-OM
guitar to perform the entire record in a single take. Russian illustrator
Tatiana Lis Contributed to the project with a beautiful cover design. The
visuals match the minimalistic and chill mood of this down-to-earth
acoustic album. Ultimately, this release stands out as a testament to the
incredible versatility and ability to try different creative avenues
showcased by Alan in his music. His discography is growing increasingly
diverse while still allowing the acoustic guitar to remain the focal
centerpiece of his projects.
