This record is filled with colorful, vibrant, and one-of-a-kind acoustic guitar compositions. The artist's own life reflects the adventurous spirit of these tracks. It is safe to say that these songs have had a fairly long gestation process. While spending time in Europe and living in France,

Alan set out to write music for this upcoming album. He did not want to rush things, so it took him about five years to complete the project and allow the songs to come together as close to what he envisioned in his mind. These are not just songs. They are summaries of a unique chapter of Alan's life. The tracks depict all the excitement of living abroad. The mood of the songs might remind people of the joy of experiencing new things, meeting new people, and going on new adventures with an open mind, marvelling at the beauty and variety of the world around us.

The end result is a sincere and expressive work, which the artist himself considers one of his very best albums. The production has a very minimalistic approach. Alan recorded the entire track-list using his Åstrand guitar, only focusing on performing single takes. The lack of extensive splicing and editing allows the songs to have a much more organic and relatable sound, which ultimately gives them a very emotional flow. The guitar arpeggios, percussive patterns, tapping, and Bell harmonics showcased on the album are an extensive example of
the incredible repertoire of acoustic techniques showcased in Alan Gogoll's music. Nothing on this album was left to chance, and it is immediately apparent that a lot of thought went into every step of the process. Even the song titles are significant to the artist, who spent a lot of time coming up with the perfect song name ideas to match the emotion that drives every song and the story behind it. Suppose you remove the fantastic guitar chops and the memorable melodies in the outstanding performances from the equation. Even then, you are still left
with what is perhaps the most crucial ingredient of all. A genuine
connection. Alan is putting a lot of himself on this record, and each song is very personal to him, as it is deeply tied to a special time in his life.
